KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25 — Agrobank has urged entrepreneurs to have proper financial plans in managing the moratorium and financing facilities offered by financial institutions.

In a statement today, it said entrepreneurs should be innovative and bold in exploring new business opportunities to ensure their business continuity and sustainability post-moratorium, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chief business officer Ahmad Shahril Mohd Sharif said customers should re-evaluate their cash flow and commitments, and consult the bank if they need rescheduling and restructuring assistance after the automatic moratorium ends on Sept 30.

“This is important as we do not want to see Agrobank’s customers having to close their businesses just because of this challenging period, which I personally feel we can overcome together,” he added.
