PETALING JAYA，Dec 18: The health ministry has reported 1,683 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 1,214 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 75,244.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said with the 1,683 cases the total number of infections in the country to date is now 90,816.
Meanwhile, there are no new deaths, with the death toll remaining at 432.
