KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 — The right lane between Simpang Renggam and Sedenak, Johor at KM50.15 to KM46.5 of the North-South Expressway will be closed to all vehicles for four months from 11 am tomorrow (Dec 21) until April 4 next year.

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) in a statement said the closure is to facilitate the installation of concrete median barriers to replace the current median steel guardrails to prevent cross bound incidents by heavy vehicles.

Throughout this period, traffic on the affected stretch will be redirected to the left and emergency lanes.

“All highway customers heading south are strongly advised to plan their journey using the PLUS App and check the traffic conditions via closed circuit television (CCTV) feeds, while adhering to traffic signages and instructions by PLUS personnel when passing through the said stretch,”  the statement said.
