PETALING JAYA，Jan 12: The health ministry has reported a record-high 3,309 Covid-19 cases and four deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 1,469 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 110,584.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 141,533.
There are 30,390 active cases with 190 patients receiving intensive care, of which
83 require respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the four deaths bring the toll up to 559.
