PUTRAJAYA，Jan 13: The health ministry has reported 2,985 Covid-19 cases and four deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 994 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 111,578.
In a press conference, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 144,518.
There are 32,377 active cases with 197 patients receiving intensive care, of which 79 require respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the four deaths raises the toll to 563.
