PETALING JAYA，Jan 27: Senior minister for security Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that two prisons and their staff quarters would go under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) beginning tomorrow.
The two localities are the Prisoner Transit Centre (PTP) involving the Marang Prison Staff Training Centre in Zone 2 and Zone 3 at the Marang Prison and also the Dungun Correctional Centre and staff quarters, both in Terengganu.
The EMCO was announced in view of a drastic rise in positive Covid-19 cases among prisoners, prison staff and families at the two locations.
