Kuala Lumpur , June 1 — The health ministry has reported 7,105 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor recorded the highest number of infections with 2,068, followed by Kuala Lumpur at 817 and Sarawak at 703. 

Perlis, which is the smallest state in Malaysia, recorded the least number of new cases with 0 new infections, followed by the Federal Territories of Putrajaya at 18 and Labuan at 162.
