Kuala Lumpur , June 2 — The health ministry has reported 7,703 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor recorded the highest number of infections with 2,728, followed by Kuala Lumpur at 701 and Sarawak at 588. 

Perlis, which is the smallest state in Malaysia, recorded with 7 new infections, followed by the Federal Territories of Putrajaya at 1 and Labuan at 159.
