Kuala Lumpur , June 7 — The health ministry has reported 5,271 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor recorded the highest number of infections with 1,374, followed by Sarawak at 703 , Negeri Sembilan at 571 and Kuala Lumpur at 455.
Perlis, which is the smallest state in Malaysia, recorded with 1 new infections, followed by the Federal Territories of Putrajaya at 8.
