Kuala Lumpur , June 12 — The health ministry has reported 5,793 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor recorded the highest number of infections with 1,582 , followed by Negeri Sembilan at 618 and Kuala Lumpur at 559.
Perlis, which is the smallest state in Malaysia, recorded with 5 new infections, followed by the Federal Territories of Putrajaya at 23.
