Kuala Lumpur , June 16 — The health ministry has reported 5,150 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor recorded the highest number of infections with 1,914 , followed by Negeri Sembilan at 607, Sarawak at 570 and Kuala Lumpur at 480.
Perlis, which is the smallest state in Malaysia, recorded with 8 new infections and the Federal Territories of Putrajaya at 6.
