Kuala Lumpur , June 24 — The health ministry has reported 5,841 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 716,847.
Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 2072.
This was followed by Negeri Sembilan (781) and Sarawak (581). While Putrajaya has 17 cases and Perlis recorded 5 new cases today.
