Kuala Lumpur, Aug 6 — The health ministry has reported 20,889 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 1,224,595.
Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 8,792.
This was followed by Kuala Lumpur (2,483) and Kedah (1,371). While Labuan has 9 cases and Perlis recorded 9 cases today.
