Kuala Lumpur, Aug 19 — The health ministry has reported 22,948 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 1,489,460.
Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 7,175.
This was followed by Sabah (2,583) and Kedah (2,137). While Putrajaya has 26 cases and Labuan recorded 9 cases today.
