Kuala Lumpur, Aug 24 — The health ministry has reported 20,837 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 1,593,602.
Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 4,645.
This was followed by Sabah (3,376) and Penang (2,054). While Putarjaya has 27 cases and Labuan recorded 4 cases today.
