KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 — The parking fee exemption initiative in the capital which ended yesterday will be extended until Sept 30.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), in a statement today, said the exemption involved a total of 61,000 parking bays under its supervision.

“DBKL is very concerned about the difficulties faced by the people of Kuala Lumpur due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As such, DBKL hopes that the extension of this incentive can help ease some of the burden faced by the city folks,” the statement read.
