SEREMBAN, Sept 13 — The COVID-19 infection at industrial premises in Negeri Sembilan has dropped following success of the Public-Private Partnership COVID-​19 Industry Immunisation Programme (PIKAS) in the state.

State Investment, Industry, Entrepreneurship, Education and Human Capital Action Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mohamad Rafie Ab Malek also attributed it to compliance by the industrial workers with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

“A total of 61,105 industrial sector workers in the state have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine through PIKAS, ” he said in a statement today.

He said out of the total employees, a total of 53,961 people had completed the vaccination.

The vaccination centres for the PIKAS programme in Negeri Sembilan are at d’Tempat Country Club, Sendayan, and  D’Cattleya, Senawang.

Yesterday, 283 COVID-19 cases were reported in the state, which brings to  a total 94,467 cases reported so far.
