China’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 8.1 percent last year, the largest jump since 2011, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Monday. The expansion is slightly above the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank’s expectations of 8-percent growth. China’s GDP in 2021 exceeded 110 trillion yuan ($17.3 trillion).
