JOHOR BAHRU, March 3  — The “Jelajah Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia” or Malaysian Family Aspirations Tour (AKM Tour) kicked off in Johor today.

Taking place at Dataran Angsana here from 9 am to 10 pm, the AKM Tour features interesting activities while viewing the various government services provided directly to Malaysian families.

Among the activities were stage performance, e-sports, exhibition booths, lucky draws by various agencies and the Citarasa Keluarga Malaysia stalls which provide various traditional Johor food.

The AKM Tour is an extension of the AKM 100-Day programme held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in December last year to ensure that all segments of the society understand the Malaysian Family aspirations.

The AKM Tour also aims to inform the public of the implementation of government initiatives and achievements at the state level last year and this year, as well as highlight the state government’s services as a Malaysian Family.

Taking into account the current COVID-19 situation, the programme is organised in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP), with visitors encouraged to take COVID-19 self-test, and sanitation work carried out each time a programme ends.
