KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 — The Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) celebrated the achievements of 233 of its officers from various grades and service schemes at the MARDI 2022 Excellence Service Awards ceremony today.
In a statement, MARDI said the event held was to appreciate and celebrate MARDI officers who have contributed and showed excellent performances last year.
“This recognition will encourage MARDI staff to continue to give their commitment, improve productivity, produce work of high quality and of integrity for the progress and prosperity of the country,” the statement read.
The awards ceremony was officiated by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry II (MAFI) Datuk Dr Nik Muhammad Zawawi Salleh.
Also present were MAFI secretary-general Datuk Haslina Abdul Hamid and MARDI director-general Datuk Dr Mohamad Zabawi Abdul Ghani.
At the same event, the child care centre at the MARDI headquarters (TASKA MARDI) was also officially launched.
To date, TASKA MARDI has 60 children as young as three months to four years under its care, as well as eight nursery teachers and four employees in the administration division of the MARDI Human Resource Management Centre.
