KUALA LUMPUR, April 19 — The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, today visited and presented a donation to five asnaf families in Kuantan, Pahang.

Istana Negara in a post on its Facebook page said the donation was presented in conjunction with the ‘Ziarah Kasih Sempena Ramadan’ programme at Kampung Baru Beserah, Kampung Bahagia Beserah and Kampung Batu Hitam Beserah.

“Hopefully, this contribution can help ease their expenses, especially during the month of Ramadan and in preparing for the Aidilfitri,” it said.

Also present were the Regent of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, Tengku Arif Bendahara Tengku Muhammad Iskandar Ri’ayatuddin Shah and Tengku Panglima Muda Tengku Ahmad Ismail Mu’adzam Shah.

According to Istana Negara, the programme reflected Al-Sultan Abdullah’s caring personality and His Majesty’s concern for the wellbeing of those in need in Pahang.
