SINGAPORE, July 22 — The Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar on Thursday visited the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) Sembawang Air Base as part of the itinerary for his three-day official visit to Singapore.

Sultan Ibrahim, who was accompanied by The Crown Prince of Johor Major General Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, was hosted by the republic’s Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen.

Also present during the visit were Minister for National Development Desmond Lee, who was also the Minister-in-Attendance, and Chief of Air Staff Brigader-General Lau Boon Ping.

Also in the Johor royal delegation Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, State Secretary Tan Sri Dr  Azmi Rohani and other Johor senior officials.

The photos of his visit were shared on Sultan Ibrahim’s official Facebook page Thursday.

According to the page, Sultan Ibrahim was briefed on the RSAF, he viewed a static display of the CH-47F Heavy Lift Chinook Helicopter and took a familiarisation ride on board the helicopter.

Meanwhile, Dr Ng on his Facebook also posted a photo of him with Sultan Ibrahim.

“Very very special, important and royal guest on The Republic of Singapore Air Force’s CH-47F Heavy Lift Helicopter! His Majesty, the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar,” he wrote.

Sultan Ibrahim is on his three-day official visit to Singapore beginning Wednesday (July 20).
