PUTRAJAYA, March 3 – Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) applicants could make online payment for CGC either through e-Konsular website or the e-Konsular mobile application before physically collecting the certificate from the Consular Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, starting March 13.

The ministry said this was following the significant upgrades and improvements which have been made to the e-Payment feature for the application of CGC and the module for Issuance of Death Confirmation Letter.

In this regard, the ministry said cash payments for CGC will no longer be accepted after Aug 31 to make way for fully cashless options.

“The ministry will also gradually roll out other cashless options such as Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal and e-Wallet at Consular Division.

“The e-Payment feature at Malaysian Missions abroad will gradually be launched later subject to the technical readiness in host countries,” said the statement.

The Ministry reiterates its commitment in improving its service delivery to all stakeholders concerned, both local and abroad.

The e-Konsular mobile application could be downloaded from Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Huawei App Gallery.
