IPOH, May 18 — The Sultan of  Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah attended the state-level Malaysia MADANI Open House held at the Lost World of Tambun (LWOT) here tonight.

He arrived at the venue at 8.15 pm and was greeted on arrival by Prime Minister  Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahi, who is Tambun Member of Parliament, and Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad. 

Sultan Nazrin was accompanied by the Raja Permaisuri of Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, the Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, Raja Puan Besar Perak Raja Nazhatul Shima Sultan Idris Shah, Raja Di Hilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah and the Raja Puan Muda of Perak Tunku Soraya Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah.

Also in attendance were Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir and the state executive council members.

About 50,000 guests from various races attended the open house. They were feted to various types of food and also given the opportunity to experience some of the activities at the theme park for free, like at the Lost Word Hotspring and the Night Safari.

There were also performances by local artistes.
