“Malaysia-China Culture and Tourism Month” kicked off in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur September 26 — Malaysia-China Culture and Tourism Month-Fun with Nature” activities kicked off today at Zoo Negara Malaysia. The event hosted by China Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur (CCCKL) is in collaboration with Zoo Negara Malaysia, supported by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, and Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia. 

Starting from today and closing on October 11th, 2020 , the event is also part of the “2020 China-Malaysia Cultural Tourism Year” celebrations.

Zhang Jiexin, the director of the China Cultural Center in Kuala Lumpur, said the event aims to promote tourism while allowing visitors and tourists to partake in enriched cultural experience while being close to nature in a fun-filled manner.

A series of activities will be going on including culture performances, Mid-Autumn Festival booths, cultural exhibition, arts and crafts activities, tourism booths, traditional snacks, lucky draw and souvenirs.
