PETALING JAYA,Sept 30: The health ministry reported two new Covid-19 deaths today, pushing the mortality number to 136.
Also, 89 new Covid-19 infections were reported today, 86 of which were local transmissions. The other three were imported cases.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said this brought the total number of Covid-19 infections to 11,224.
He also said 28 people were discharged, bringing the number of recoveries in the country to 9,967.
There are currently 1,124 active cases, with 16 of them under intensive care, and three needing respiratory assistance.
