Ampang Jaya station suspends services after 11 cops contract Covid-19

PETALING JAYA, Feb 23: The Ampang Jaya police station in Selangor has been forced to suspend some of its services after 11 policemen contracted Covid-19.

Ampang Jaya police chief Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the station will be closed to the public although it will still be operating with personnel on duty.

“We want to prevent people from getting infected,” he told FMT.

He said those who want to lodge police reports or obtain permission to travel across districts or states would not be able to do so from today to Monday.

They should go to the other stations nearby, including the Hulu Klang, Melawati, Pandan Indah, Ukay Perdana and Pandan Perdana stations.
