MAIPs reduces rental for premises

KANGAR, July 28 — The Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs) has taken the decision to reduce rental for its premises during the full closure of the economic sector with the financial implications of RM171,668.

The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail said in a statement today that the total financial allocation under the MAIPs Initiative Package to Tackle the COVID-19 Pandemic for 2021 was RM8,363,078.

Earlier, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin handed over MAIPs zakat contribution to Rahim Mat Isa, 61, who lives with five other family members in Kampung Nesam near here.
