Putrajaya, Oct 15 – Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced that quarantine periods for fully vaccinated close contacts and international arrivals have been shortened.
From Monday (Oct 18) onwards, close contacts who are fully vaccinated will need to undergo home quarantine for seven days.
Close contacts who are partially vaccinated or not vaccinated will need to undergo home quarantine for 10 days.
Also, from Oct 18 onwards, international arrivals who are fully vaccinated will need to quarantine for seven days upon the arrival.
This can be done at a designated quarantine station or at home if the latter is found appropriate.
