KUALA LUMPUR, May 14  — The Malaysian Muslim Lawyers Association (PPMM) has urged the government to put pressure on Israel through the United Nations (UN), Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and other unions to end Zionist regime’s occupation of Palestine.

Its deputy president Muhamad Hisham Marzuki said the International Criminal Court should also initiate legal proceedings against Israel.

“PPMM calls on the government to work with other Islamic countries in defending the fate of the Palestinian people and safeguarding the sanctity of one of Islam’s three holiest mosques from the brutality of the Zionist regime,” he said in a statement today.

PPMM appreciates every action of Malaysians who protest against Israeli atrocities, even if it is just writing on social media, he added.
