Kuala Lumpur MCI News Sept 6 — MIDA welcomes delegates from China Entrepreneurs Association In Malaysia(PUCM) to discuss the joint efforts on bringing China AI technology and ICT solutions into Malaysia to enrich Malaysia’s technological development. A delegation of 7 paid a courtesy visit to MIDA including PUCM president Dato Keith Li, Vice President Leo Yang, Charles Yang, Vincent Zhong,Addison, JC Ng and David Wang.

MIDA Chairman Dato Majid told MCI that Malaysia is embarking on the journey of digital transformation its economy including industrial Revolution 4.0. In this context it seeks and welcome investment of high value add and high impact to push forward its industrialisation on a more competitive footing and derive higher income for the people.

Organisations such as PUCM can play an active role in facilitating Chinese companies to explore opportunities in Malaysia in sectors such as AI, Big Data, IOTs , ICT . Malaysia has the necessary  ingredients and emerging ecosystem to support such industries and serviceswith a clear defined policy as announced by the Government. 

It is hoped the Smart Technology Exhibition will not only be a platform of introducing China’ s achievements  in Smart Technology but also a revenue for future colloboration with Malaysian local players in the Smart Technology Sector and an opportunity for Chinese companies to have a more meaningful role in Malaysia’ emerging Digital Economy.

PUCM President Dato Keith Li expressed his thanks for MIDA’s confirmation as supporting partner of 2019 China Smart Industry Trade Exhibition.

Through this exhibition, PUCM will enable Malaysian smart industry  trade players and others to learn more about China’s smart technology and product services, better promote exchanges and interactions with the local community, introduce more advanced Chinese products and technologies to Malaysia, and assist the country’s economic development.  

The exhibition will take place at Mid valley in December and will feature leading ICT companies such as China Mobile International, China Telecom, China Commservice, GCI, Vivo Technology and UB Tech among others,  also quite some local IT and smart industry company will join the trade exhibition with the strong supports from local key partner associations like PIKOM, Perdasama, SME, and MCCC.
