BANGKOK, March 21 — Thai AirAsia is temporarily suspending its international flights from March 22 to April 25 in accordance with the travel restrictions enforced by various governments and relevant health authorities to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Thai AirAsia said the suspension would only affect all international flights operated with airline code FD.

“All domestic flights and services continue to operate normally,” it said in a statement today.

Thai AirAsia said affected guests would be notified directly via email as well as SMS.

Thai AirAsia said it was closely monitoring the situation and reserved the right to announce further policies according to the latest developments.

It said all affected passengers who booked prior to or on March 20 would be offered three options to alleviate any inconvenience: reschedule their flight within 180 days from the original flight date, credit the fare value to their AirAsia BIG Loyalty account for future travel or get a full refund.
