Putrajaya, Aug 27: Malaysia recorded five new Covid-19 cases as of noon today, bringing the total number of cases nationwide to 9,296.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said 16 patients were discharged today, bringing the total number of patients who have recovered from the virus to 8,994 or 96.75% .
No new deaths were reported today, keeping the death toll at 125 .
