PETALING JAYA,Sept 10: The health ministry reported 45 new Covid-19 infections today, 40 of them from the Benteng cluster in Sabah.
This pushes the total number of cases in Malaysia to 9,628.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 24 patients were discharged today, bringing the total number of patients who have recovered from the virus to 9,167 or 95.21% .
No new deaths were reported today, keeping the death toll at 128 .
