Putrajaya September 20 : The health ministry reported 52 new Covid-19 infections today, 40 of them local transmissions.
This brought the total number of Covid-19 infections to 10,219.
Sabah recorded 36 cases, including 27 from the Benteng LD cluster.
No new Covid-19 related deaths were reported, with the death toll remaining at 130, or 1.28% of total cases.
In a statement, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 40 people have been discharged, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,355.
There are currently 734 active cases with 10 patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), with two requiring respiratory assistance.
