GEORGE TOWN, Sept 27 — Malaysia’s leading converged solutions company Maxis is recognised as Penang’s trusted technology partner for the state’s various smart state initiatives.
Maxis chief executive officer Gokhan Ogut said the collaboration between the two parties focuses on two areas in line with the Penang2030’s vision blueprint to strengthen the connectivity and digital infrastructure of the state.
He said that the two focus areas include the 5G-enabled Smart City Internet of Things (IoT) pilot projects, as well as the establishment of Penang’s first IoT Innovation Lab (Makmal Inovasi IoT).
