Oct 3 — U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday evening arrived at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland, where he would spend the next few days. The incumbent leader, who was in the midst of his re-election campaign for a second term in the Oval Office, tested positive for the coronavirus earlier in the day.

“Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days,” the White House announced.

This came hours after Trump addressed the nation in a recorded video message, claiming he was “doing very well.” (Reuters)
