PETALING JAYA，Oct 16: The health ministry has reported 629 Covid-19 cases and six deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 245 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 12,259.
In a tweet, Noor Hisham said the 629 new cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 18,758.
With the six deaths the toll is now at 176.
