KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20– The UMNO Supreme Council Working Committee meeting scheduled to be held in Janda Baik, Pahang today (Oct 20) has been postponed until the completion of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), said UMNO secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan via Twitter today.

He said that although the meeting was to be held in Pahang, which is not placed under the CMCO, the standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the National Security Council (MKN) with regard to interstate movement required police approval.

“The rising number of COVID-19 cases have also made it difficult for the 57 members of the working committee to meet face-to-face,” he said.

Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor have been placed under the CMCO from Oct 14 to Oct 27.
