PETALING JAYA，Nov 3: The health ministry has reported 1,054 Covid-19 cases and a record high of 12 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 875 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 23,995.
Speaking at a press conference, Noor Hisham said the 1,054 new cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 34,393.
The 12 deaths bring the toll to 263.
