PETALING JAYA, Dec 27 — The health ministry has reported 1,196 Covid-19 cases and one death in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 997 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 84,411.
In a statement, he said the 1.196 new cases bring the total number of cases in the country to 105,096.
The one death brings the toll to 452 so far.
