PUTRAJAYA, Jan 1 — The health ministry has reported 2,068 Covid-19 cases and three deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 2,230 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 91,171.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 115,078.
There are 23,433 active cases with 126 patients being treated in intensive care and 54 requiring respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the three deaths means the death toll is now 474.
