Kuala Lumpur Jan 28 : The health ministry has reported 4,094 Covid-19 cases and 10 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 3,281 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 154,299.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 198,208.
There are 43,192 active cases with 303 patients being treated in intensive care and 118 requiring respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the 10 deaths bring the number of fatalities to 717.
