Beijing, Mar 27 – Beijing has started COVID-19 vaccination for foreigners in the city, the municipal government has announced.

According to a notice published on Friday, foreign nationals aged 18 or above can make appointments through their employers or residential community offices to receive a domestically developed shot.

The vaccine will be free for foreign nationals who are members of Beijing’s social medical insurance scheme. Others will be charged at the current rate of 93.5 yuan ($14.29) per dose.
