Kuala Lumpur April 1 — The health ministry reported 1,178 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. With that, the total number of infections now stands at 346,678.

In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Sarawak recorded the highest number of cases with 238, followed by Selangor (237), Penang (190), Johor (165), Kuala Lumpur (101), Sabah (86), Negeri Sembilan (34), Kedah (32), Perak (31), Kelantan (27), Pahang (14), Melaka (nine), Labuan (seven), Terengganu (six) and Putrajaya (one).

Perlis did not record any cases today.
