KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 — A one-stop online platform AkuPN, which stands for ‘Akar Umbi Pemacu Negara’ has been activated to help members of the public to search for jobs, upgrade skills or venture into business.

Through its three menus, namely ‘Cari Kerja’, ‘Skil’ and ‘Sapot’, the people can create or display their respective resumes, select and participate in various skills’ training and obtain business fund for up to RM10,000.

The website was developed by Perikatan Nasional (PN) Youth with the co-operation from International Trade and Industry Ministry, Human Resources Ministry and Halal Development Corporation, Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera and Tekun Nasional.

PN Youth chief Khairil Nizam Khirudin said with various skill training programmes provided by the government through Budget 2021 and Economic Stimulus Packages, as well as local entrepreneurs’ potential where their innovations and productivities needed to be integrated, the group was called to play a part as facilitator to public.

“As such PN Youth wants to invite the people especially youths to join and register themselves as  members of the AkuPN community. We believe that each of us has a role and significant responsibility for the future,” he said in a statement today.
