KOTA KINABALU, June 28  — The Sabah government will implement Phase One of Movement Control under the National Recovery Plan (PPN) from tomorrow by maintaining most of the standard operating procedures (SOPs), said Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor.

He said several social and economic activities would be allowed to operate, including dining in restaurants, food stalls and outlets in hotel premises; roadside stalls selling vegetables, fish and fruits; as well as barber shops.

“Details on the SOP for Sabah will be released soon,” he said in a statement today.

Hajiji said sports and recreational activities without physical contact such as exercise, golf, fishing and cycling would also be allowed.

He said factories that would be allowed to operate would be extended to rubber, cement and paint, as well as wood-based factories and furniture factories.
