IPOH,  Feb 8 — The  ‘Meet the Clients’ Day’ is a platform for the public to meet with the relevant departments and agencies towards finding solutions to their problems, said Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.

He said implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) due to the COVID-19 pandemic had created various problems for the people that required the intervention of the state government, through the relevant departments and agencies.

“(At the Meet the Clients Day today) the problems raised included matters relating to quit rent, citizenship, registration of adopted children, applications for surau and religious schools, on drains and housing.

“The Menteri Besar cannot solve everything. The problems can be solved by the relevant departments and agencies,” he told a press conference at the ‘Meet the Clients’ Day” which is held at the Indera Mulia Stadium on Tuesday on the second week of every month.

He said the people are excited to come to the Meet the Clients Day because it provided them the opportunity to deal with the relevant quarters to resolve whatever problems or complaints they had.

In some cases, they can be settled fast without going through the lengthy bureaucratic red-tapes, and this is a relief to the people, he told a press conference at the ‘Meet the Clients’ Day” which is held at the Indera Mulia Stadium on Tuesday on the second week of every month.

He said the Meet the Clients’ Day involved the participation of various government departments and agencies, including those providing counter services, such as for summons payment.
