China has accelerated its response to the nationwide surge in COVID cases, by revising requirements and instructions on mass testing. Authorities asked cities with a population of 10 million or more to conduct a round of testing within 24 hours, according to China’s Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council on Tuesday.
