PUTRAJAYA, April 7 — Festival Ramadan Putrajaya, an annual attraction for the public and to enliven the month of Ramadan atmosphere and for shopping, has been rebranded as Ihya’ Ramadan Putrajaya (IRP).

Federal Territories Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Shahidan Kassim who launched the IRP 2022 here today, said the rebranding was aimed at enlivening the month of Ramadan with spirituality besides  supporting economic growth in Putrajaya.

Among the events taking place during IRP 2022 are educational ones involving talks given by popular speakers on Islam and the Santai Petang@Ihya’ Ramadan every Saturday at Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin. 

“PPj (Putrajaya Corporation) is committed to continuously making Putrajaya a choice destination for tourists and visitors, especially during Ramadan,” he said in his speech at the launching of IRP 2022.

IRP 2022 has four main components, namely, the Ramadan Bazaar, Anjung Syawal, Kiblat Walk and Laman Iftar, all located near Dataran Putrajaya and it will go on until this May 2.
